"Appear to be very honest, which is hard to find with mechanics these days."
I was referred by someone to try Volsar and was very impressed with the owner Gus. I needed a water pump and he gave me factory and after market prices to choose from. I find him to be very honest and that is all I or anyone would want in a mechanic. It pays in the long run because I would not hesitate to recommend him to family/friends.

"Customer Service +++"
We have had both of our Hondas serviced at Volsar Automotive. Their customer service is A+. They are so honest & trustwothy. When we suspected an issue which was far more costly, they diagnosed a much smaller & less expensive problem. This isnt always the case & we have experienced the alternative. Great people, wonderful service & no pressure to add on other things. Able to clearly explain the problem to a nonmechanic without making me feel inept. Definately our forever garage!!

"Gus is the best!!"
Members of my family and I have been going to Volsar for over 25 years. I recently had to have some work done on an emergency basis and even though they were extremely busy that Friday Gus made a point to squeeze me in. I was given a price before any work was done and gave them the OK to proceed with the work. When it came time to do up the bill, Gus was going through my car history and noticed that I was in the shop just over a year and a half ago for the same problem. Due to faulty parts he replaced them at no cost and ended up saving me $400 on the cost! I'm sure any other mechanic would have kept their mouth shut and still charge me the inflated price. Not Gus!! He is the most honest mechanic I have ever seen. Plus, he's just a really nice guy!! I will never go to another mechanic as long as I live. Gus has consistently given me great pricing and service and I would recommend Volsar to anyone in a heartbeat. Thanks Gus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"The Best!"
My dealer had already replaced 2 air sensors in my 2001 Subaru Forester when the check engine light came on again. They said not to worry, probably the gas cap again & go ahead & drive it. I don't know much about cars, but I did know that wasn't the right answer. After checking the Car Talk site & finding someone with a simialr problem I went to Volsar. Gus found & replaced a bad knock sensor, one that my dealer had never mentioned. He said if I'd continued driving I could have run into a big problem. After coming to them for a number of years I admit that I've become very biased & no wonder. They always treat me fairly, the same as their male customers, always explain everything they do & their prices are reasonable for excellent work. And I've never come back with something not done right the first time. I plan to keep coming. After all, they're the best!

"... been going for 28 years ...."
... since moving to Boston - Joe (now retired) and his son-in-law, Gus are not only nice people, BUT honest as the day is long ... on too many occasion they performed "less" work, since "more" was not warranted - brakes need replacement in 3K more miles, the exhaust can be "band-aided" no need to replace and then finally - you need to "get rid of the car" or spend over 5K and it will not be worth it ... and of course ALL repairs have held up - go to them with full serenity

Gus and his mechanics are great -- trustworthy, courteous, and knowledgable. I've been a customer for 10+ yrs. For years they kept my old cars running like new. I bought a new car and continue to take it to Gus for all its servicing, major or minor. I wouldn't even get my oil changed anywhere else b/c I know they check my car over for safety and function every time!

I am always very pleased with the service I receive when I visit this shop. I would like to see if possible for ride back to work or home when leaving my car for the day at the shop and a ride back to pick it up when it is ready if this was at all possible .

I cannot say enough good things about Volsar. They are very honest and excellent mechanics. Volsar's mechanics have always tried to repair my car in the most cost effective way. A family run business, Volsar's service is very friendly and reliable and they don't try to take advantage of women like some mechanics do.
